Hey guys! I have acquired a new Digimon collectible today; this D-Terminal Japanese Version from season 2 of Digimon Adventure!
This device was released in tandem with the D-3 device toy. It's primary function is to act like a Digimon encyclopedia, with the ability to look through a large selection of Digimon on it. It also features a few extra modes, like the ability to connect with another Digimon toy and do battle, though not the ability to raise a Digimon like other toys with this compatibility. It's a very interesting toy and, aside from the logo sticker on the front of the case, it's incredibly screen accurate to the D-Terminal from the show (though lacking the ability to send E-mail like it did on-screen. )

Hope I made this thread interesting even to people who don't much care for this stuff

It's an entire media franchise! There's games, toys, the anime... I'm big into most of it, but I have to admit i've been skipping out on the game side of it. I like collecting and I like anime, but I'm not too sure what the games are all about. Maybe i'll try one out some time, the only game i've played is Digimon World for the PS1, and it was only for like 10 minutes.
